salin records heißt diamond in der familie herzlich willkommen, einen sehr talentierten, jungen produzenten mit sitz in oxford (uk), der einen platz in unserem herzen gefunden hat. als diamond sich mit einer demo von -target blue- an uns wandte, konnten wir die melodie tagelang nicht aus dem kopf bekommen. der track zaubert uns sofort ein lächeln ins gesicht und verbreitet mit alex wilsons saxophons eine enorme energie, die uns das gefühl gibt, wieder 20 zu sein.

the „will you be there ep” completes the „christophe salin - ep series“. he is taking us on his musical journey and paves the way for cooperation with future artists on his very own imprint „salin records” that he runs with his wife daria salin as a platform for electronic music and art. „to love” is what it’s all about, love your next one, love yourself, love what you do, love music and art. needing a bridge at this point nothing would be sweeter than a little excursion to the french touch sound and vibes of the late 90’s and early 2000’s. so, the a-side ends up with a question „shall i give love another try“…flip side „i’ll think of you” keeps this mood until „your soul” takes us slowly over to the final declaration of love „lullaby for daria“.

more demented, brain-damaging turkish electro-saz & synth drums galore by the mighty derdiyoklar duo, originally released in 1984! anadolu pop doesn t get weirder than this! these two turkish guys armed with electro-saz, guitar, drums and synthetizers were hitting the turkish market in germany where they lived, playing their sets of traditional flavoured electro-folk in weddings and circumcision feasts for turkish emigrants in germany. that crazy is the story, that crazy is their sound!!!
